This pot has royal heritage and is one of the first pots designed by Bergs Potter. This noble pot is inspired by pottery made at the Royal Danish Palace of Fredensborg in 1860.
Potters still make these pots by hand in a small village near Lucca in Tuscany. Each pot is hand made therefore will have variation.
Material: The pot is 100% italian clay. The saucer has a subtle layer of silicone treatment (diluted solution of "PS 18 W). This is to keep water from leaking out from the clay saucer.
Care: Soak in water before use. Make sure, if placed outside in freezing temperatures, that you let the water drain from the pot, so it doesn't freeze and break the pot.
