Frequently Asked Questions

Peace of mind is important! We stand behind the quality of our products, but we understand sometimes things don't work out. We offer returns on select items within 15 days of delivery, as long as they're unused and in original packaging. Items must be postmarked by the 15th day to be eligible for a refund.

To start a return or exchange, simply email within 15 days of receiving your order.  If your item arrives damaged, please email us photos of the box and the item for a resolution.

Please note that customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method, minus the original shipping fee and return shipping charges. Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the item received is damaged, defective, or incorrect.

Please allow 3-5 business days from the date of return receipt for the refund to be issued so that we may process the return and conduct a quality control review. Once a refund has been issued, you will be notified via email. Returns that are damaged, soiled or altered may not be accepted and sent back to the customer.

Rugs & Lighting: These items are all final sale.

Mirrors: These items are all final sale.

Artwork: All artwork is made-to-order and is final sale.

Vintage: All vintage is final sale.

Furniture: All furniture is final sale.

Candles: All candles are a final sale.

Custom Upholstery & Made to Order Pieces: All custom upholstery and made-to-order pieces are final sale.

Final Sale & Clearance: All items labeled final sale are not returnable.


We offer shipping for orders within the 48 contiguous states and worldwide. Orders with in-stock inventory will be fulfilled within 2-3 business days (excluding holidays). Please note shipping rates are calculated based on the original retail price/full order value and/or weight of items.

If purchasing internationally, there are duty fees and taxes automatically calculated in checkout. However, you are responsible for extra duties and taxes if there ends up being more after receiving the package.  


Once an item is ready to ship, you'll receive a confirmation email with a tracking number to view the carrier information and transit details. Please note that items can only be delivered to the original address specified during the checkout process. To ensure a smooth delivery experience, kindly provide an active phone number and email address during checkout. 

Any damage or loss occurring to items beyond the specified 15 day return time frame is not the responsibility of Cottage Home Shoppe. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation regarding our delivery policy. 

Discount codes cannot be used on sale as well as some lighting and furniture pieces. Discount codes cannot be combined with other discount codes and they can only be used at time of checkout. Discount codes do not apply to shipping.

Gift cards can be purchased here. Gift cards are delivered by email and contain instructions to redeem them at checkout.

Please note, some of our products are vintage items. Therefore, these items are one of a kind and slightly imperfect, just how we like it! Our vintage items are thoroughly inspected and meet our high quality standards. Condition is already reflected in price.
