North of Rome in the Lazio region rests the small town of Di Bolsena, a place once filled with potters and the home of Roberto Rosso, one of Italy’s greatest potters. Inspired by ancient Greek designs, Rosso created pottery with distinctive clay borders, a popular feature throughout the 1800s. Fascinated by the idea of a decorative rim, Steffen Berg created our Helena Pot with the remarkable scalloped border to acquire a soft yet classic-looking flowerpot.
Material: The pot is 100% italian clay. The saucer has a subtle layer of silicone treatment (diluted solution of "PS 18 W). This is to keep water from leaking out from the clay saucer.
Care: Soak in water before use. Make sure, if placed outside in freezing temperatures, that you let the water drain from the pot, so it doesn't freeze and break the pot.
I will start off by saying I was a bit hesitant on ordering this glass hurricane because of the dimensions stated on the details. It seemed this hurricane was going to be huge and in the pictures shown I could not really grasp the size for the small one. But I took a chance and ordered it and I am so glad I did. It is the perfect size. Perfect to style on top of books or next to a large vessel.

I absolutely love everything about these stems. The quality is beyond any I have seen out there. The color is rich muted and vibrant all at once. It is the perfect color for early Fall transition. But besides the color and price, the best thing about these stems is their moldability not only are the stems easy to bend and mold, but so is each leaf. So if you are someone who is not good at putting arrangements together like me, then you'll love these stems.
Don't let the price fool you,the quality is there and in my opinion they are under priced.
